| Summary: Spatz Laboratories, a Color cosmetics firm with headquarters in Los Angeles, CA with operations in Suzhou and Zhejiang Province is looking for an organized and efficient person to fill the role of Asia Zone Sales Coordinator. The position will be located in the Suzhou plant. This person will be involved in supporting Sales, Marketing, Product Development and R&D. This position will be responsible for the following: Sales • Supporting the Account General Managers on all activities related to the Asia Zone. Accounts include Maybelline, L’Oreal and Avon. Additional accounts will be added as business opportunities increase. • Implementation of Sales strategy as created by Account General Managers. • Manage all customer requests and requirements to support the Asia Zone. • Work directly with customers in the Asia Zone. This includes e-mail and phone communication as well as customer visits as required. This position is the main contact for all Asia Zone customer communication and requirements. • Create, maintain and update customer communication log. This will be provided to Account General Managers on a regular basis. • Create and update new project profiles for all sales initiatives. Proactively work with customers to define and implement requirements for launching a new project. Communicate this information to Suzhou Commercialization team to insure all details and defined. • Prepare product profiles for client formula and package submissions • Work cross functionally with numerous departments to insure launch dates are met. This includes creating and managing timelines before the PO is received and then working closely with the Internal Project Manager to ensure new orders are shipped on-time. Product Development • Package samples: ~ Coordinate package samples for the Suzhou R&D lab ~ Coordinate and manage package sample requests with Oxnard and Shangyu plants ~ Maintain package sample library ~ Maintain inventory for all package samples • Formula samples: ~ Update and manage the Suzhou lab request database ~ Coordinate and manage sample requests within Suzhou plant ~ Maintain formula sample library • Evaluate new formula submissions as provided by Oxnard and Suzhou R&D labs. Provide timely feedback. • Prioritize Suzhou Formula R&D lab, track progress and insure deadlines are met. • Maintain new product development timelines to insure launch dates are met • Monitor, track and evaluate new product samples • Prepare a written industry trend booklet-track new products and technology-evaluate competitive NEW products on a month bases and issue • Collect and send monthly fashion magazines to Vice President in a timely manner. Provide feedback on questions and clarification as requested. Qualification requirements: • Organized and VERY detail oriented • Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and e-mail. Trilingual preferred (English, Chinese, and French). Bilingual required (English, Chinese). • Process oriented • Ability to create and manage timelines • Timely and efficient • Independent team player • Able to multi-task and work in a faced paced and fluid environment • Must love makeup!! • Passionate, curious, outgoing, confident, friendly • Must be a self starter with high level of initiative and posses the ability to work independently and make decisions in order to maintain progress on projects Spatz Laboratories develops and manufacturers innovative new products for global cosmetic brands.
